CAMOUFLAGE

Car park at Fort Vechten, centre of the New Dutch Waterline, with capacity for 250 cars, 100 bicycles and 2 buses.

Without parked cars, the site looks like a meadow in the waterline landscape, with a few concrete paths, casemates, stork nests and tank barriers.
Only on closer inspection do the hidden parking spaces, number tiles and dragon’s teeth in strict military order catch the eye.

The car park is located on the old ground level and the archaeological monument and is completely removable and recyclable.
