FORT ISABELLA

The repurposing of Fort Isabella requires soundproofing measures between the railway and the buildings.

By cleverly turning a necessity into a virtue and linking noise prevention to the layered landscape, the “folding” of the landscape under the pressure of modern times can be used to bring new functions and programming into meaningful harmony with the geometry of the former star shape.
